"The Art of Strategic Planning for Rural Municipalities workshop, led by Carey McMaster, provided a range of very useful strategic planning, execution, and performance methods. Carey’s teaching techniques were well received by all participants and she fostered an extremely welcoming environment. I quite enjoyed the breakout room feature of the workshop, which stimulated real life interaction and allowed for brainstorming, analysis and application of the content being discussed/taught. This workshop was a valuable learning experience and had awesome takeaways. As part of the workshop, you are invited to monthly check- in meetings with your group. I personally really like this aspect because, and especially in the face of ongoing unprecedented changes of COVID-19, it is a way to foster continuous learning and development. It is always great to have colleagues who you can identify and collaborate with. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend to anyone in the municipal public sector!"

"Traicon provided Hastings Destination Trails Inc. with a framework for creating a positive direction. Traicon introduced us to concepts and a framework that moved us through discussions to the outcome, an ambitious but realistic, actionable and measurable plan. [She] effectively coached us to resolution when needed. Thanks to this process, the entire group is committed and excited to put our plan into action. Traicon has minimized the guess work and the result is a well thought through strategic plan destination of choice, not chance."
