Upcoming Programs & Deadlines

   

November 2025 Deadlines 

ONTARIO-Specific

  • Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Grow Grant:
    • Deadline: November 5, 2025
    • Purpose: To scale up an existing program or service with a proven track record of success to benefit the community.
    • Value: $100,000 to $600,000 over 2 or 3 years.
  • Greenbelt Foundation Grant Program (for 2026 funding):
    • Application Deadline: November 5, 2025
    • Purpose:  Funding for projects related to the Ontario Greenbelt (environmental and agricultural focus).
    • Note: Select applicants may be invited to submit Supplementary Information by December 5, 2025.
  • Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Project Grants (Arts-Specific):
    • The OAC has multiple project grant deadlines in November, including:
      • November 4: Northern Arts Projects, Theatre Organizations: Operating.
      • November 5: Visual Artists Creation Projects.
      • November 6: Craft Projects, Music Recording Projects.
      • November 13: Chalmers Professional Development Projects
  • Connecting Links Program 2026 – 2027 (Ontario Government):
    • Deadline: November 13, 2025
    • Purpose: The Ministry of Transportation’s Connecting Links Program provides dedicated provincial funding for road and bridge projects on designated connecting link highways.
  • Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP) (Ontario Government):
    • Deadline: November 13, 2025
    • Purpose: The Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP) funds the  development of community capital projects that contribute to a  sustainable social base and support economic participation in Indigenous communities, both on and off reserve.
    • The  program has funding for 3 project stages in the capital project process:
      • Feasibility Study Completion
      • Design Completion
      • Construction and Renovation


CANADA-WIDE

  • SSHRC Partnership Development Grants:
    • Deadline: November 17, 2025 (8 p.m. eastern)
    • Purpose: Supports formal disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and cross-sector  partnership arrangements in the social sciences and humanities.
    • Value: $75,000 to $200,000 over 1 to 3 years.

      

December 2025 Deadlines 

  • FCL Community Investment Fund (Regional Focus):
    • Deadline: December 31, 2025
    • Purpose: Support charitable programs and initiatives that are making an impact in the communities of Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg
    • Value: $500 - $10,000

      

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS


  • Always Verify: Grant deadlines can change. You should always visit the official website for each grant to confirm the deadline, eligibility requirements, and application details for 2025.
  • Eligibility: Many national grants are open to Canadian registered charities or qualified donees, but their focus (e.g., arts, research, youth) is often specific.
  • Application Preparation: Grants often require extensive preparation, including a  detailed project plan and budget. Start working on your application well in advance of the deadline.
