Professional & Organizational Development
2020 has taught us a valuable lesson on why organizations need strategic planning. Politicians knew a virus was coming at some point, that it would cause economic hardships and deaths, that it would require massive effort from our hospital, governments, private sector drug companies, and yet nobody put a plan into place to deal with the potential situation. A strategic plan with flexibility would have put Canada on a much better footing to deal with the emergence of Covid-19.
Numerous non-profits have seen their donations fall, fundraising opportunities decline, and government funding reduced. Organizations were not equipped to have employees work from home, many struggled to retain and recruit volunteers. Service providers were forced to decide which programs were of greatest priority, and how they should be delivered.
The challenges of 2020 are not behind us. 2021 will be another tough year and the post Covid-19 economic recovery will present new challenges. TRAICON can help your organization prepare to meet the future head on.
